No More Snapping!

As I was getting ready for my first LittleBits Chapter meeting next Saturday May 14, I came upon a fix for a challenge that has been plaguing me since I started exploring the "Bit" world.
Snapping the circuits onto the mounting boards has proven to be a very frustrating and disheartening experience. Once the circuits are assembled the instructions say …”Then, press onto mounting board.”
After many attempts (and almost breaking a Bit) I decided to try something different…
-Using elastic bands to keep the bits on the board. (bad idea)
-Using two sided tape…(bad idea)
I took a break ….
Came back and decided to invert the whole design. The DC motors snap on just fine so I did that and placed the rest of the circuit on the other side of the mounting board using a few well placed glue dots….
It Worked!!!!!
Plus I got a cool reversible Bit Bot that flips on its axis.
So here is my advice to anyone who is having trouble with the mounting boards. Use glue dots on the other side!
And no more snapping!
Please share suggestions or frustartions in the comment section below.
